Career Link Students Celebrate their Graduation

Since 1998 the Career Link Academy has offered an educational option for young people who have left high school without graduating. During the course of its existence, Career Link has faced funding challenges, and has been operating for the 2007-2008 school year with the hope that North Seattle Community College would be able to find a way to support the program. Unfortunately this has not been the case, and the NSCC Executive team has made the decision to end the operation of the Career Link Academy on June 30th, 2008.

Students who seek to complete their GED after this date should see the Pre-college programs page for other options.

The Career Link Academy has enrolled over 1,000 students in the past ten years with 44% of them earning their GEDs, and 20% continuing on to enroll in college classes at North Seattle Community College. It has been an honor for the Career Link Team to be involved in the learning process of our students and watch them overcome barriers and make changes to improve their lives. We are very proud of the accomplishments our students have made, and even though Career Link will no longer be a physical presence on campus, know that we will always be cheering you on in our hearts and wishing each of you success.
