The mission of the Student Leadership and Multicultural Programs office is to develop students' confidence and leadership skills so they may thrive in a multicultural and global society.
We do this by working as a team to collaboratively design, develop, implement, and support programs that provide student leadership growth and development opportunities. We train, mentor and support the Student Administrative Council, coordinate an annual Diversity Lectures Series, and run the Arts and Lectures Program. We also provide assistance and support to the many (student financed) Service & Activity Fee funded programs. We coordinate and sponsor a wide variety of leadership trainings, workshops, seminars, and fund opportunities for students to attend regional and national conferences.
